COVID-19 has reached Pandemic levels, so in the interest of the health of our patients and staff we have made a few changes at the clinic.

At this stage, we will continue to operate as normal but we ask all patients and those attending with our patients to RESCHEDULE if you have any cold/flu like symptoms (fever, sore throat, runny nose, headache and shortness of breath), if you have recently travelled overseas or if you have been in contact with someone who has travelled overseas/been unwell.

We have many elderly patients and people with compromised immune systems so we need to be mindful of protecting them as best as we can.

Some ways we can all do this are:

  • Regularly washing hands with soap and water, particularly after being in a public space
  • Coughing into a tissue or elbow
  • Minimising touching of the face, eyes and mouth, particularly if your hands aren’t clean
  • Avoiding people who are displaying symptoms
  • Wearing a mask if we have symptoms

Some extra steps we are taking, besides our normal infection control practices, are:

  • Extra hand sanitizers for staff and visitors to use
  • Regular wiping down of door handles, waiting room chairs and high traffic areas
  • Screening of patients when booking appointments

If you are unsure if you should cancel your appointment or would like further information about our minimisation strategies please call 94805522.
